Thyrotoxicosis, a toxic condition can be caused by an excessive intake of thyroid hormone or by overproduction of thyroid hormones by the Thyroid Gland. The common symptoms include excessive sweating, heat intolerance, tremors, weight loss etc.
In some patients, sensitive to drugs, a primary reaction may occur, then the remedy can either be tapered or stopped for few days. In the mean time the following may be administered:
B3 for diarrhoea.
B5 for strong pulse.
B42 for emaciation and weakness.
B45 for nervous debility.
Use of iodized salts or use of hormones (thyroid glands) should be strictly done under medical supervision as it may cause acute aggravation.
